CNAS Held SIDA Training Course

According to the arrangement of Certification and Accreditation Administration of P.R.C (CNCA), China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment(CNAS) held the second stage course of Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA) train programme on Nov.22,2006. SIDA is a governmental organization responsible for bilateral cooperation programmes among developing countries. The train of World Trade and Conformity Assessment is one of the numerous train programs. These programs are divided into two stages. The first stages are conducted in Sweden, whereas the second ones are in the country selected from one of the trainees. The training course of this year’s second stage is selected to be developed in China. The subject of the train is to understand the conformity assessment in China. 25 trainees from 19 countries attended the train.

Mr.Xiao Jianhua, Chief Executive of CNAS and Mr.Huang Shouyun, Director of International Dept.of CNCA introduced the conformity assessment system, the accreditation system and accreditation body in China respectively. And they answered various questions of the trainees. This train will make for the people in the developing countries to understand the conformity assessment in China and also step up the international inference and impel of China in the field of conformity assessment. Meanwhile it increased the understand between China and other developing countries. And it laid a good foundation of further international exchange and cooperation.
