NCA Visited CNAS Intending on Signing the Mutual Cooperation Agreement with CNAS |

Director General of National Center of Accreditation Republic of Kazakhstan (NCA) Mr. Timur NURASHEV and NCA Counselor-Management Representative Mr. Amangeldy KULSEITOV visited China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS) on the 24th SEP, 2012. CNAS Chief Executive Mr.XIAO Jianhua attended the meeting. During the meeting, both parties firstly exchanged the information on each other’s development process, organizational structure as well as current accreditation situation and activities. Prior to this visit, NCA expressed the intention of reaching and signing the Mutual Cooperation Agreement with CNAS. In response to this, Mr.XIAO addressed that CNAS attaches great importance to develop friendly and cooperative relations between CNAS and accreditation organization of all countries, and is willing to sign a Mutual Cooperation Agreement with NCA. After a subsequent discussion and amendment on the draft agreement, CNAS and NCA reached a consensus. In addition, Mr. NURASHEV also posed a series of technical questions including experiences on participating in international accreditation organizations, accreditation process, accreditation fees, as well as rules for the accreditation of certification bodies with Multi-premises. Mr. XIAO and CNAS staff answered each and every individual question accordingly and furthermore provided NCA with the relative CNAS Rules documents. This meeting promotes the friendship and cooperation between CNAS and NCA, and plays a positive role in further development on trade between China and Kazakhstan.
