GSO visits CNAS

Sept 10, 2012, Mr. Saud R.Al-Askar, Director of Conformity Assessment Dept., Gulf Cooperation Council Standardization Organization （GSO） and Mr. Abdesselam Benyaich, Conformity Assessment Specialist of GSO visited China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS). Mr. Xiao Jianhua, Chief Executive and Ms. Song Guilan, Deputy Chief Executive of CNAS met the guests.
During the meeting the both parties introduced respective situation of conformity assessment and the progress of each body. The both parties discussed the possible cooperation for the acceptance of CNAS accredited conformity assessment certificates for products exported to GSO Countries, as sufficient proof of conformity. Both expressed the intention of further cooperation. The visitors wished to invite the experts in CNAS to provide training in conformity assessment for the staff of GSO in the future.
