Training Course for Applying Lab Accreditation Held

July 5-6, 2010, the Training Course for Applying Lab Accreditation was held by CNAS. The training was conducted for the needs of the labs that are going to or in the process to apply for the accreditation. It aimed to normalize the preparation of the labs’ application, clear up the vague sense of accreditation, improve application quality and reduce the accreditation risk.249 students from 157 bodies participated.

 

Mr. Liu Xin, Deputy Chief Executive of CNAS, made opening speech at the Course. First he introduced the existing situation of lab accreditation and expounded the significance of accreditation. Then he strengthened that the labs should focus the attention upon the business construction, consume much energy in promoting their competence, and constantly follow the technical requirement and regulatory development of accreditation, meanwhile they should enhance the sense of responsibility to avoid and reduce accreditation risk. At last, he put forward the requirement for the labs to strengthen the construction of incorruptible and honest style.

 

This training clearly transmitted CNAS manner and determination to be rigid in checking up quality to the society; at the same time, it provided the most direct and reliable channel for the labs to understand accreditation, and fully reflected the work principle of CNAS both to guard the pass and serve.
