2006 APLAC Training Course on Reference Material Producers (RMP) was held in Beijing

The training course on reference material producers (RMP) sponsored by Asia Pacific Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (APLAC), which was hosted by Chinese accreditation body, was held on 10-12 April, 2006 in Beijing. Mrs. Liu Zhuohui, Deputy Director-General of Certification and Accreditation Administration of the People's Republic of China (CNCA), Mr. Liu Anping, Chief Director of Department for Laboratories & Inspection Bodies Surveillance of CNCA, Mr. Xiao Jianhua,Chief Executive of China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS) and other leaders attended the opening ceremony. The course was presided by Mr. Wei Hao, Chairman of APLAC Training Committee and Deputy Chief Executive of CNAS. Totally about 30 representatives and experts from laboratory accreditation bodies of Asia, Pacific, European and America participated in the training course.

In the three-day's training, facilitators, Mr. W.W.Wong from HKAS, Ms. Roxanne Robinson from A2LA and Dr. E.W.B. de Leer from NMi VSL B.V, explained relevant criteria which are referred by RMP accreditation, relevant procedure requirements of international mutual recognition, assessment keys and other contents by the aim of promote the consistency in different countries' accreditation on RMP. The training course adopted the forms of presenters’ teaching, venue discussion and group discussion.
