EU-Indonesia Trade Support Program Delegation Visited CNAS

EU-Indonesia Trade Support Program Delegation led by Mr. Aditya Nugroho,   program team leader and council member of National Accreditation Council of Indonesia (KAN), visited CNAS on 8 May 2014. Mr. Xiao Jianhua, Chief Executive of CNAS, Ms. Liu Xiaohong, Deputy Chief Executive of CNAS, and other relevant CNAS staff met the delegation.

EU-Indonesia Trade Support Program is a project funded by the European Union to help Government of Indonesia to improve quality infrastructure (QI), consisting of standardization, conformity assessment (laboratories and certification), metrology and technical regulation.

The delegation was composed of 7 members mainly from Ministry of Trade of Indonesia and National Standardization Agency of Indonesia. The purpose of the delegation’s visit to CNAS was to get a knowledge of conformity assessment infrastructure and related policies in China. CNAS staff gave a brief introduction of the topics that the delegation interested in and answered some questions the delegation raised.
