On April 20--21, Seminar on Accreditation Effectiveness of End-User Committee was held in Taizhou,Jiangsu Province, China. Mr. Zhao Zongbo, Deputy Director of CNAS End-User Committee and Chief Executive of China Certification and Accreditation Association (CCAA), and the leaders from Taizhou Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision attended. The seminar was presided over by Ms. Yuan Songhong, Director of General Affairs Dept. of CNAS. There were also representatives from social industries, relevant industries and associations, governmental departments, consumers and the media commentators attended. Development of the 12th Five-year-plan Scheme for Accreditation Work was debriefed at the meeting. The emerging systems of certification accreditation of for the low-carbon economy and energy management system, as well as the related laws of accreditation and certification and the technical barriers in foreign countries was introduced,. New members of the CNAS End-User Committee were announced and issued engagement letters. The representatives further discussed the construction of credit system and the accreditation effectiveness. During the discussion, basing on their own situation, the members stated the technical barriers that enterprises may encounter in the international trade and put forward new expectations and suggestions for the enhancement of the accreditation effectiveness.
