The Second CNAS Board Meeting was Held in Beijing |

On 20 March 2007, the second China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS) Board meeting was held in Beijing. Ms. Wang Fengqing, CNAS Chair, presided the meeting. Mr. Sun Dawei, Director General of Certification and Accreditation Administration of P.R.C (CNCA) and CNAS Executive Vice Chairman, presented at the meeting and made a speech. Totally 58 Board members or representatives from 5 parties, which include government departments, conformity assessment bodies, clients of conformity assessment service, users of conformity assessment and professional bodies & technical experts, attended the meeting. The members of Board reviewed the work reports in 2006 from the Secretariat and 5 special Committees, discussed and approved the Development Programme of Chinese Accreditation (2006-2010), CNAS Procedural Rules for the Board/Executive Committee, relevant technical documents and proposals on increasing the number of Executive Committee members and employing senior counselor.
